Flowery and citrusy hop aroma with notes of black currant. More flowery-citrusy hops in the flavor with firm honeyish malt backbone. Soft bittersweet and honeyish finish. willblake (2183), Belcamp, Maryland, USA

Absolutely reeking of c-hops, amarillo. Soft, full body tending towards syrupy slickness up front, but tailing off to a rough driness. Citrus and dry finish with lots of sweetness.
Upping the score a few notches here (prev 8-4-7-3-13 - 3.5). This stuff has grown on me lately and it really is a great looking beer, too. I like the grating resinous nature in the way the hops close the deal in this stuff...I didn’t like that as much the first time around. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Clear, deep golden body with an ample, lingering white head. Aroma of mangos, citrus, and a faint hint of cheese. Flavor has sylvan hop qualities plus some mild graininess. Mostly drying and clean. Seems a little weak in character. Not bad, but not an exceptional IPA by any means. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Bottle. Sweetness, pine, and slight resin aroma, slight lychee and orange with a little funk – great, great hoppy aroma. Grapefruit, too! Hazy orange-golden body with an orange-tinted beige head. Hoppy taste, light-medium bitterness with light breadiness and increasing, REAL grapefruit taste (not the pink stuff they sell off in juice cocktails, but fresh-squeezed), dry with light resin balanced by a subtle sweet hint in the bg. Medium body with a dry, hop-kissed finish. Pleasant surprise! blutt59 (2147), Dallas, Texas, USA

Aroma is full of hops. Very nice and floral. Flavor wasn’t as hoppy as I thought it would be, although it has a very nice hoppy taste. At the beginning it’s a load of hops and floral notes with a slightly sweet and malty middle and a bitter, hop finish. Very smooth and a little watery. jsquire (2113), St. Marys, Ohio, USA

Golden yellow out of the bottle with a very hoppy orange citrus nose. I found this beer to be all abou the hops, with not enough malt to support it. Candied orange peel that tailed off into a mild bitter finish. Okay IPA.
