Wonderful hop aroma that is citrus and pine with a little candy. Yeah man, that’s bitter. Tongue numbingly bitter pine that makes me smile. Some toast flavor in the finish. Some grapefruit is here too. A nice hop experience.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2005 A light hazed golden/copper with a thin but holding off-white head. Aroma suggests that sweet malts will accompay piney hops. Additional notes of Juicy Fruit® gum and grapefruit. Flavor is all hopped-up goodness, bitter and fruity within a well-carbonated, spicy mouthfeel. Malts are not as sweet as expected and provide enough balance to make this a sessionable IPA.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 19, 2006 Cloludy amber with a dense clinging off-white head. The aroma is sweet and hoppy, citrus and exotic fruits dominate. The flavor is pretty nice with the exotic fruit coming through (lychee?) in the middle and the malt making a welcom apperance late. Nice malt balance. Maybe a tad thin but otherwise a solid nice IPA. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
