Jul 8, 2009 Draft in Portsmouth, NH. Amber with a lasting quarter inch of creamy foam. Aroma of caramel malt and citrus. Front of big caramel malt is nicely dried by resin and grapefruit finish. Near-medium body is smooth and well-dried on the end.

Jun 22, 2005 Bottle - big props to slob for sending this goodie my way. Pours clear amber with a large white head that lingers well. Nice fruity aroma, tangelo, pineapple and toffee with a nice hop counterpoint that’s herby and orange peel in scent. Nice flavor, sweet and earthy, green pear and grass notes with light lemon and spice in the finish. Medium body and subtle carbonation. This is a good IPA - more in the refined English style rather than the in your face West Coast style. Very pleasant.

Aug 6, 2008 Bottle thanks to goldtwins. Clear light amber with a tight thead. Nice sweet malt and piney hop aromas. Smooth, medium body. Decent grainy, lightly sweet bready pale malt flavor with a tasty piney hop bitterness to finish. Nice ipa

Mar 11, 2007 Thin head with decent carbonation. Lots of light and fluffy floaters in there. Big hoppy aroma with lots of resinous hops and pine. Some caramel malts also. Color is a fuzzy bright orange. Sweet and malty up front then the hops slap you in the face mid swallow. Big dry roasted peanut skin bitterness. I think that this is balanced very well. Dry with a little roastyness but predominantly big and hoppy. Little alcohol presece. Lingering bitterness and hoppy dryness. I like this brew a lot.

Mar 15, 2005 Bottle from Goldtwins. Medium copperish amber in color. Nice white head fades to a film and leaves nice lacing. Floral and citric hop aromas. Body is light, decent carbonation. Slight hints of sweet caramel, big hop flavors and bitterness. Decent IPA, needs a bit more malt and body.

May 9, 2006 Bottle. Pours amber with off white head. Mild hop aroma of citrus. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium with a moderate texture. Noticeable malt profile complimented by some orangey flavors from the hops. Finishes bitter, dry, and very astringent. Nothing spectacular in my opinion

Golden colour. Creamy head. Aroma is very hoppy with notes of citrus (oranges). Flavour is more hops and oranges. Very nice bitterness.
