| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Cloudy amber body. Off-white, frothy head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of sweet pineapple, orange, citrus, grapefruit and flowers with hints of caramel, The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately. bitter. Medium body, watery/velvet texture and lively carbonation. Sweeter than many American IPAs, but quite good. Hops are bright enough to stand up to the sweet, malty backbone, but not bold enough to scrape your tongue. Very enjoyable. Hopistotle420 (1178), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 11, 2006 Bottle: Clear copper amber hue. Grapefruit/lemon, faintly floral, piney nose. Small whitish head dissipates quick. Sweet biscuity malts, thin and quick, give way to stinky resinous hops, bitter and raveshing through a lingering grapefruit finish. Light body, lacking real depth. An india blah blah pale ale, blah blah. FlssmrBrewAlum (1177), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | May 4, 2009 12 oz bottle courtesy of an extra from goldtwins. Thanks, Larry! Pours a sun kissed dark gold, a touch of amber, largely clear, with ample white bubbly head that dies to a small amount, laces small. Aromas are evident from pour, preaching some nice citrusy hops and florals and some mellower tropical notes from a distance. Light soap. Nice. Initial is thin in body, a bit too much for me, but pushes light bitterness of citrus, with pale and caramel malts, and tropical on the backend. A touch of pine in the finish and bitterness on the palate. A lighter fare of the IPA group, filtered away it seems. Would be nice to see what this brew does without that. More of an APA type. Not bad, just not special and outclassed as far as the IPA style goes. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2006 Poured a clear effervescent golden amber with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, perhaps a touch of pine and toffee. A bit muted but present and nice. Flavor follows with essences of orange and grapefruit, a bit of dishwater soapiness which mutes a bit, finishing dry, citrusy and refreshing, leaving you wanting more. Although a bit muted and leaning somwhat towards the generic side, it still carries nice flavors and finishes positively to create overall a nice brew. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Nov. 2006 - Pour was copper colored, two fingered head that left amazing lacing...rings at every sip which just hung around. Yeasties left in chunks at the bottom. Okay, after the amazing appearance, this is just a typical run of the mill grapefruit filled IPA. Some sweet malties as well, but really harsh grapefruit bitterness and a oily mouthfeel that wasn’t overly pleasant. Forgettable, except for the way it looked. Bright golden amber colour with a frothy off-white head. Piny, grassy, and fruity hop aroma, with the grassiness overwhelming everything else, almost medicinal. Faint caramel quickly drowned out by piny grapefruit bitterness. Light bodied almost watery mouthfeel.
