Aug 9, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Best before Oct 06. Poured out a medium straw / light amber color. Has a thin white head, but hung on for the ride to the bottom of the glass. Aromas are of malts, some fruitiness as well. Hops make a major appearance. Flavors are of sweet malts, slight brown sugar, apricots. Medium mouthfeel, decent body. Good IPA in my book.

Aug 16, 2009 FCBF 09. I really liked this IPA. Nice mouthfeel and texture. It struck a nice malty / hoppy balance, a bit more like an American Pale. Good stuff.

Jul 1, 2009 Location: I’ve had this one on tap and out of the bottle quite a few times. I’ve noticed quite a few places in Manhattan where this is the only IPA they have on tap, so if I’m out to dinner or grabbing a drink at one of those places, and I want an IPA, this is the one I get.
Overall Impression:
This a pretty decent IPA, it’s just not hoppy or flavorful enough to get much higher of a score then this, but it is a drinkable beer.

Mar 4, 2005 Updated: Dec 4, 2005this is one hell of a beer. The aroma is powerful hops, hops and hops -- with extra hops just for good measure. I’m lucky to live within walking distance to their tasting room. This a great beer -- start to finish!

Apr 13, 2008 Bottle. Very nice. Solid hops aroma with a copper color and thin white head. Taste is a well-balanced ombination of hops, citrus with a nice bitter hops end. Would have again!

Jan 12, 2007 Bottle, Pours a slightly hazy amber/orange with a medium head. Not much retention, good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pine hops, mostly, which just a touch of malt sweetness. I’d almost rate this as a double IPA. Right on the edge.
Medium body. Pleasantly bitter finish.

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle courtesy tpd975. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with sweet malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Good.
