Taste is a well-balanced ombination of hops, citrus with a nice bitter hops end. Would have again! Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 19, 2005 Thanks to 1FastSTI ! Pours a clear golden color, nice sized white head. Big lacing around the edge. "Simcoe like" hoppy aroma, spices, lemons. Flavor is sweet, goes into a pleasently bitter hoppy kick to the face, somewhat balanced, though lacking a distinctive charachter to it. frylock (1025), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Golden brown color, nice lacing. Aroma has notes of grapefruit and apricot. Some piney bitterness, lightly sweet caramel malts. They’re not reinventing the wheel here, but it’s a solid beer. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 3, 2005 This is a fairly nice brew! Huge aroma of oranges and pineapple. Medium golden in color with a nice white head and lots of lacing. More pine and grass in the flavor adds to the citric. Balanced by some sour malt with a heavy backbone. Some carboination on the tongue andlasting bitterness. I like it! TheBeerLover (1019), DC Metro Area, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 26, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours to a slightly hazy, deep golden color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is very fragrant, with lots of big citrus, and piney hop aromas. The palate is firm, with a good pale/biscuity malt base, that leads into lots of piney/citrus bitter hop flavors on the tongue. This beer finishes with more good pale malt up front, then ends with a very bitter piney/citrus bite that lingers. A hop blast, this beer has plenty of hop aromas, flavors, and bitterness. Would make an excellent aperitif beer, and a perfect match with hot and spicy foods such as a Thai, or Tex-Mex. malrubius (1004), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 11, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Golden with lasting head and lace. Mild citrus aroma. Very dry with almost no malt flavor. Some mild fruitiness. Extremely sessionable and pretty good. Nice bitter finish. I might need another to decide. Seems out of balance and too light but I am enjoying it. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA

Turns out it’s quite fantastic. Great citrus hop aroma. Flavor is medium bitterness. Great grapefruit taste, grassiness, pine, and great malt sweetness. Texture is very creamy and smooth. I’m having a love affair with this beer. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
