Golden. The aroma is like puting your head into a hop pocket. No head retention. Slightly sweet. Hint of tasted bread reveals itself after the initial hop chock Grape. Sulphur comming through after a while in aroma. Fresh cut green green grass of home in initial aftertaste.

Jul 23, 2007 Pine and floral hop aroma with some malts mixed in. Clear orange color with some white foam. Starts bitter mellowing in the finish. Slightly chewy palate.

Jul 17, 2009 Bottle. Light amber with a nice, fluffy head. Light citrus, mainly grapefruit in the nose. Light flavor (at first). Gets a bit heavier with nice, not strong hops. Not great, but worth drinking.

Jul 18, 2005 Pours clear gold. Short white soap head. Initially pungent with piles of hop and antiseptic. Good mouthfeel. Flavour is far more simple than the nose might suggest. Sweet grapefruit and pine. Some candy, and grass/herbal finish.

Aug 15, 2009 Pours golden-amber into the glass, with a tiny retentive bubbly cap that leaves mild lace. A grapefruit nose ensues, with hints at pine needles. The flavors are bit thin upfront, with grapefruit and rind/zest notes, but not a lot of malt substance to back up the citrus aspect. Thus, the body lacks some substance and feels a bit hollow. The finish is decently bitter, with some biscuit flour and pine notes; however, with a mouthfeel devoid of substance in the backbone, alongside albeit "overtly zesty" carbonation levels, this brew just feels like it has all the right intentions, but doesn’t impress on the delivery.

Dec 4, 2006 Drunken straight from bottle but generally clear with some unfiltered detritus milling about. Aroma is hops, slightly fruity. Large hop hit on the flavor. Citrus, malt, etc. An average to slightly above-average IPA.

Jan 21, 2005 (Brewed and bottled by Clipper City Brewing) (Best before July 2005) This a very pleasant medium intensity IPA that is very drinkable and hoppy. A good go to IPA.
