Mar 13, 2007 Quite pale, strong fluffy head. One dimensional hopping, characteristic cascade hops are nice at first, but become a little overwhelming as things progress.

Dec 15, 2007 Tap at the Cloverleaf tavern in Caldwell NJ. Bright amber in the glass with tight dense white head. Hops andplums in the nose. Tight rings of lace. A subdued hoppyness is the result of well balanced malts. It nice not to have an IPA attempt to beat me over the head. Easy drinking and enjoyable.

Jul 19, 2005 On tap at Mahar’s in Albany. Was expecting more hops considering the name, but it still wasn’t too bad tasting, just not enough bitterness for what I wanted.

Jan 24, 2006 Poured golden with a minimal head. Aromas of citrus, graitfruit, and pine. Taste was quite creamy but lacking in terms of the hops for me. Pretty good IPA.

Aug 11, 2008 355 mL bottle, marked as 6.8%. (bb Oct ’08). Copper with a small light beige head. Nice lacing. Strong aroma of C-hops, with some berries and caramel underneath. Nicely balanced flavour, with pine and citrus from the hops, and a thinnish sweetness from the malt. The bitterness is not as overpowering as some American IPAs; some may say it is not overwhelming enough. Body and carbonation seem about right. Good, but nothing to make this one stand out in a crowd.

Aug 14, 2008 Pours a slight hazy golden straw color from 12 oz bottle, forming good size bubbley foam. Aroma of light floral hops, with a bit of citrus. Flavour of bitter malts dominate. Kinda got that English IPA thing going. OK beer, but not really an American style IPA, I think.
