| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2009 12oz screw-top bottle obtained at McKinnon’s in Salem, NH. Pours a crystal clear yellow-amber body with virtually no head. Butterscotch with a bit of citrus in the aroma. Minty grassy hops dominate the flavor with a bit of bready and caramel malt. Light bodied with moderate to low carbonation. An okay IPA at best, an okay beer in general I guess. Could afford to be more focused and cleaned up IMO. miketd (679), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2008 Pour is cloudy orange with a decent off white head. Aroma is piney and kinda floral. Flavor is mild up front, but has some harsh bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark gold with a solid, foamy head. Light grass and floral notes with a touch of malt in an otherwise light nose. The palate is malty with soapy, floral hops in the back. Has a slight dry character to it. I was really surprised at the malt sweetness this has for an IPA. Medium carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel. Medium finish with some lingering bitterness. Not a bad beer, but hard to consider it a good IPA amongst it’s peers. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 9, 2009 Draft at Blind Tiger. Pours a golden yellow color with a small white head that recedes quickly and leaves a ring of lacing around the glass. The aroma shows a good amount of citrus hops, oranges, and a sweet caramel malt backbone. The flavor follows with the oranges and citrus flavor with a good amount of bitterness from the hops. The sweet caramel malts smooth things out and sweetens things up. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and very easy drinking. A pretty nice ipa, but nothing crazy. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2007 12 oz. Pours golden with a slight amber hue. small, white lacing head that disapates quickly. Citrus and hop nose, lemon and grapefruit. Sweet start with a medium bitterness, a touch of citrus and grass. Sweetness of brown sugar and carmel, touch of chocolate. The finish is a muddle sweet with some bitter. It’s a bit heavy. The bitterness lingers through the after. Ok, that it. Haslinger (647), Syracuse, New York, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 1, 2009 12oz - No real nose for an IPA. I really didn’t think much of this on the first sip. Definitely an earthy palate, some sweetness that was undesirable. It grew on me, with no particular merit in any one area. It’s no threat for best in the style, but I’d get it again. gsmitty80 (642), Washington DC, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2008 This was an average IPA. Good hops that didnt leave too much of a bitter aftertaste. The only thing was i felt that it was a lttle too sweet. Maybe i have wrecked my palate with all the imperial IPAs ive enjoyed recently. I dont know, but i thought it was a nice change of pace from the traditional high hop and hard finishing IPAs.
