| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Pours a pale orange with a thin but persistent ivory head. Some soapy looking lacing. Smell is somewhat citrusy but more herbal in the nose. No malt aromas evident.
Taste is dominated by the herbal hops. Bitter, herbal hops with just a hint of orange rind. Hops take the finish as well and the resinous hops stick to your tongue and your teeth. Not subtle, not complicated but pretty tasty with a unique blend of hops that balance bitter and sweet. Worth a look. hopson (595), Williamsville, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2007 Bottle: Did not care for the appearence at all. Spent yeast chunks floating all over the place. Wierd. Nice brew though. Defintely has the woodsy- aroma and flavor to it. Not as crisp and hoppy as I would like. Still, not a bad brew. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 5, 2008 This poured a solid copper in color with a thin head. The nose is filled with lots of sweet citrus and tropical fruits with a touch of crème, herbs and caramel. In the mouth it is medium-bodied with plenty of carbonation and a dry, slightly bitter finish. Overall, this was well-balanced and enjoyable. If this was a local, it would be easy to put this in a regular rotation. Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Pours a hazy orange with a medium sized head that retains poorly. The aroma is of grapefruity hops, pine, sour peach and other citrus scents. The flavour is floral and hoppy with a malty, fruity finish that doesn’t last long enough. The palate is almost syrupy, especially in the finish. The lacing is impressive, leaving a film that coats the whole glass. Overall, this IPA is better than average, but not outstanding, as it has nothing unique or noteworthy about it. skoisirius (584), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2007 12 oz bottle into a Tulip glass, thanks to Kirk for picking this up in NJ! Pours a light golden orange color that is moderately hazy. A thin foamed white head sits up to, retaining mostly to the sides of the glass. Quite strange, there really isn’t much of an aroma on this guy, but what is there is lightly spiced and hoppy with no malt present. The flavor begins a bit watery actually (which comes to mind on the nose) and swiftly moves into a citrusy hop note that is fairly one dimensional. The taste ends on a nice and light, refreshing bitter pine hop note. I don’t taste much malt in this beer whatsoever, it’s interesting. Overall it’s well done, but very simple and one dimensional. emerica56 (583), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2007 This beer pours a nice golden color to it and it has a nice head to it. There are some nice hints of pine and hops as you smell it. There is a good hoppy taste but it is very mild. SETANTA (581), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA
