It has a great aroma of citrus. The 6.2% alcohol is well balanced with the hops and malts. The color was golden with a full head. This is a solid IPA worth seeking out. The smooth finish with some bitterness just the way I like my IPA. IPAs are what beer drinking is designed for. another on 9/12/09 the alcohol is higher 6.8 %. The golden clear color and frothy white head are very inviting. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Esters that resembles those cheap perfumes you can buy for 5$ a gallon at a flea market, resinous like a bong and patchouli. It sounds horrible, but mixed together it wasn’t all bad, and it provided me with an explication for the hippie artwork on the bottle.
If you made a salad with edible flowers, really astringent arugula and grapefruit zest, with a vinaigrette sweetened with malt extract, it would be similar to what this Beer tasted like. Dry mouthfeel. I could see myself drinking this again. brewski519 (428), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2009 12 oz bottle - pours and amber color with a decent whitish head. Aroma of citrus, hops and grass. Taste of orange/grapefruit and hops balanced out by some malt. Not quite as bitter as some IPA’s but it holds it own. Not a bad IPA - very drinkable. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Aroma isn’t too strong, but hints at floral, citric hops. Watery and thin. Some hop bitterness, not much flavor. Lacking a lot in the malt department. Possibly a band-aid flavor, as well as metal in there somewhere. Overcarbonated. Quite the disappointment.

But it does have a nice, fairly strong hop flavor, with a somewhat bitter finish. Nice and very drinkable beer.
