Mild citrus and hops in the aroma. Gently carbonated, dry, and light bodied. A touch of citrus in the flavor and a moderate hop prescence throughout. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Pours slightly hazy golden color. Aroma of citrus hoppiness and sweet malts that ends up smelling a bit like blueberry. Nice boldness in the first sip, not quite bitter, but it has a nice hoppy essence. Nice floral hop flavor balanced with slight malty finish. I like the amount of hoppy flavor in this one, but the hops taste a bit raw at times. I’m happy I tried this one. Not much on the aroma, I really didn’t smell much at all. Nice hoppy, citrus flavor. Crisp and a dry bitterness throughout. I wish I had another bottle to taste again, this was an interesting beer. Good one for hop lovers. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Pours a rather nice golden hue with a decently long lasting white head and very active carbonation in my Sam Adams Sensity Glass.
Smells of muted grapefruit and pine. Good but weak.
Tastes very good! Same notes as smell which in and of itself wouldn’t qualify this as any more than average but something here is done right that I can’t quote put my finger on. Mouth is solid at a medium body with medium carbonation.
A very good IPA and one I’d try again.
