A decent IPA, not unlike many others that are popping up like crazy. Pours a hazy orange to amber with little head, but some thin lacing. Decent hop aroma, with some citrus and earthy hops. Grapefruit flavor with pleasant bitter finish. Flavor of bitter citrus peal lingers pleasantly. Decent session beer, but nothing extrodinary.

bottle, sampled 1/13/08. Pours a hazy pale orange, some visible sediment, a decent amount of active carbonation creates a decent size head. Aromas of citrus bitterness, some resinous smells, and some lightly sweet notes. Flavor is all hops- sharp citrus notes, earthy pine, and slick sharp bitterness. Light toasted pale malts in the background. A bit slick and oily on the finish. Decent IPA, but would be helped by some more depth.

Bottle obtained in a trade with Illinismitty... thanks Sean! Pours a clear, golden color with a medium head and very sticky lacing. Aroma is light and fruity with a slight hop hint that comes through in the back. Flavor is hoppy and piney with a slightly dry finish. Pretty good beer that I could definitely site and drink two or three of in a sitting! Thanks again Sean!

Bottle. Poured pale translucent amber with a respectable white head that thinned fast. Aroma was pleasantly sweet grapefruit with a hint of resin, not really piney though, that melded seemlessly with a moderate caramel malt. Flavor was grapefruit bitter, had a fruit punch sweetness, citric, nectar-floral, all with an underlying bitterness that somehow finished sweet. A decent east coast IPA.

Butters 6th Cellar Reduction. Getting pretty full after 6 slices of pizza but going strong. Light clear gold in color. Sweet tropical fruit hops on the nose. Pineapple and a touch of malt. Not nearly as tropical in flavor. Kind of back to IPA basics for flavors. Very typical. Well put together though.

Bottle. Purchased in Ocean City Maryland. A very nice IPA. Very well balanced, smooth in the mouth and on the finish. Hoppy finish. All the typical IPA characteristics present. Nicely done - try it if you can find it.

Bonus bottle from KpLynch..Thanks bro! Pours dark gold with a heavy chill haze, and a half-inch head of white foam. Retention is moderate and a few streaks of lacework appear for the duration. Aromatics are a blend of biscuity malt, pine sap, citrus fruit, and pineapple skin. Not incredibly pungent or floral, but square on and crisp for a standard IPA. Medium bodied, drying and minerally crisp. Dried citrus fruits and spruce on the pallet. Some lightly toasted malt follows through and a smidge of warming alcohol. Drying and firmly bitter with a chaulky nod. Finishes with pineapple skins, biscuit malt, and mild grapefruit with apricots. Tasty enough, and this ones seeming pretty fresh. I’d have another one!
