| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Bottled. Poured a completely clear copper color with an off white creamy head. Weak aroma - mostly wet hops, grapefruit, and malts. I got a much stronger malt taste than hops, which is exactly opposite of what I want an IPA to be. Not all bad, but low scores from me because I don’t think this really resembles an IPA. MarkBarnes (266), Waterville, New York, USA

Relatively-light & citrusy (but not too much so), with lasting bitterness. Reminiscent (if less "over-the-top") than favorite East Coast IPAs like Smuttynose and Southern Tier.
Another poster remarked that this brew is very malty for an IPA. I agree, and think that the balance of this brew is part of its appeal. Very pleasing in all areas, really; an IPA that you might enjoy year ’round. Very glad to have stumbled upon this!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 29, 2007 Pours very golden with some amber. Could be mistaken as a Budweiser in my mug. Little head that dies quick. Sticky lacing on the glass. Smells of pine, cirtrus, orange and hops. Taste isnt too complex but very nice and finishes hoppy and dry. Feels a tad thin and undercarbonated. Overall a tasty beer and extremely drinkable, especially on a hot day.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2005 Nice hazygold pour with small white head. As can be expected, it had a very hoppy aroma, little bit of dried fruit. Grassy on the aftertasted, well-blended and textured, overall a good specialty IPA. clingman71 (260), Centerville, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Draft. pale and slightly cloudy/hazy. Pretty slight hop aroma, flavor abut the same. Not a bad beer, but pretty weak for an IPA. Would make a good summer lawn mowing brew. bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Pint Glass on July 12th, 2007. The appearance is a light amber/orange. Poured with little to no head. The aroma is bitter, floral, piny smells. The taste is very bitter, wow, just bitter! A hint of maltyness to it also. The bitterness is great. Just the way I like my beer to taste. Great!
