Bottle (12oz) shared with blankboy, jerc, tupalev & gregclow - bottles from me and blankboy. Reddish-gold pour, small frothy white head, quick diminishing, thin lacing. Aroma of lemon, pine, alcohol (sour wine), not really much hop nose. Flavour is hoppier, almost balanced with light malt, slightly bitter, mulchy, average linger. Average carbonated, slightly watery mouthfeel, soft on the palate, slight tang of iron filings, not too challenging overall.

Bright, gold looking ale with average at most head. Aroma of sweet malt with decent hop aroma. The pale ale is dry hoppy at front with medium deep malt behind. Leaves pleasant aftertaste. Over all good IPA, dry with enough malt behind to have pleasure from having it.

RBSG 2005. Golden yellow with a moderate white head. Big leafy hop aroma. Flavour is quite bitter but not in an entirely pleasant way. Lemon. Average-touch thin palate. Disappointing.

This draft brew from the Ale House in Johnson City NY beer bar poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent typically carbonated orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was hoppy and floral. The crisp semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium malty aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Bottle: Luminescent deep orange-amber with a thin white top. Nice floral hoppy aroma. Slightly resiny, but not overpoweringly so ... very finessed and balanced. Clean and crisp, this is a wonderful little hoppy beer. I love it.

(Bottled) Clear brandy-amber color with a very small head. Very grassy-hoppy aroma with blackcurrant, boysenberry and pine-resiny hints. Strongly birch-pine-grassy-hoppy flavor with herby strawberry leaves. Medium-bodied, dry and bitter, astringent palate with quite low carbonation. An enjoyable, bitter, good-quality, maybe slightly harsh IPA.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a thin white head. Aroma is pine, honey hops. Flavor is bitter dry hoppiness with some citrus present.

Cask... Poured a couldy golden color with a large white head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of straight pine... smelled like a forest of pine trees. Taste too, was very piney, some resin, light citrus of grapefruit and pineapple, and just a hint of sweetness. Very nice.
