Mar 9, 2005 Updated: Oct 27, 2005tap 3/8/05. On tap on the Waterfront Bar in NYC. Poured a medium white head with busting aromas of fruits with a slight grass hint. Off-reddish amber color. Seemed to be full bodied but finished thin and clean. Although its an IPA the hops are very mild but their presence its what makes this beer so good. A dry finish and very good balance of hops and flavor.

Oct 3, 2007 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Pale golden, white head. Hoppy, grassy, fruity aroma with pine apple and apricot notes. Hoppy, grassy, metallic flavor, some sweeter fruits. Bitter grassy finish.

Aug 6, 2005 Updated: Oct 20, 200608.03.05 Tap @ JP MacGrady’s. Copper-amber, dense khaki head fades. Absolutely reeking of c-hops, amarillo. Soft, full body tending towards syrupy slickness up front, but tailing off to a rough driness. Citrus and dry finish with lots of sweetness.
Upping the score a few notches here (prev 8-4-7-3-13 - 3.5). This stuff has grown on me lately and it really is a great looking beer, too. I like the grating resinous nature in the way the hops close the deal in this stuff...I didn’t like that as much the first time around.

Jan 30, 2006 Updated: Jan 18, 2007I figured there was a reason that Archer Liquors carried this. Turns out it’s quite fantastic. Great citrus hop aroma. Flavor is medium bitterness. Great grapefruit taste, grassiness, pine, and great malt sweetness. Texture is very creamy and smooth. I’m having a love affair with this beer.

May 7, 2005 bottle 12 oz. Clear dark golden w good off white head that fell fairly quickly, good lace. Aroma is nice, fresh, floral cascade type hops & moderate malt. Flavor is the fresh, floral, spicey hops balanced nicely w the lt/med roast malt, very clean tasting. Nice moderately bitter finish. This is a very good lower half of med bodied IPA. Feb 5, 2006 Bottle Pours a clear light amber with a nice off white head. Lots of citrusy hop aromas. Flavor is a bit light in the malt body, but quite hoppy. The citrus/grapefruit variety. lively carbonation, and nice sharpo bitter trailer. Nice IPA

Jan 2, 2007 Updated: Sep 1, 2008Sampled on draft at Rivertowne Inn in North Huntington PA this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was sweet fruity and floral hops. The flavor was sweet malts followed by fruity and floral hops that were fairly strong. The finish was crisp, tangy, bitter and hoppy. A pleasant surprise.
