deep golden/honey colored, with a very tall creamy white head. little lacing on the glass. small amount of small yeast particles. floral pine, grapefruit aroma. very fizzy/high carbonation. medium mouthfeel, almost watery. flavor is clean hops and not too bitter. not too sweet or syrupy either. very clean and slightly malty-sweet finish. would like to try by the stone IPA.

[GABF 2006 – Denver, Co] Deep yellow in color very cloudy brew with a nice thick head. The hops aroma was awesome nice thick with hops and the flavor was one for the NW. A great IPA for the Eastern seaboard.

Pours out a somewhat cloudy light copper color with an off white head. Aroma of some citrus and floral hops. Taste is similar to aroma floral hops with some grapefruit coming through, nice malty sweetness for balance. Very drinkable

golden color thick white well laced head. Smells like a kids ceral but I couldn’t figure out which one. A sweet sugar and light citrus aroma. Full oily creamy palate. a dry grapefruit hop w/ some nice carmel balance finishes evenly bitter. Good stuff.

Bottle acquired in trade with SpringsLicker (thanks!). Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of pineapple, oranges and some citrus. Softer tastes of pineapple, grapefruit, and citrus. Light to lightly medium bitterness. Not a bitter hop bomb.

Very nice, a clear amber color with a fizzy head that doesn’t loiter, but coats the glass in lacing before it leaves. Great hop aroma, orange petals, pine, grapefruit - and I wantefd it to be more intense. Too much sweet malt got through! Medium-bodied and sweet, it is now the hops that dominate in the mouth (and down the gullet). Intense without overwhelming, the serious bitter flavor makes the brew work for this hop-head. The finish is bitter and oddly dry. I need to swallow more to make sense of this.

Thanks to secret santa. Lots of pine sticky hop resins. Almost no malt detectable in aroma. Flavor has same piney hop bite with some cirus sweetness and faint malt in the background. Long lingering spicy hop aftertaste. Nice lacing. A little one dimensional.

bottle rating: 7/3/7/3/13 = 3.3 Clear amber body with a small head. Aroma is hop dominated with notes of grapefruit, pine, citrus and grass. Flavor is the same, some malt (caramel) backing but nothing terribly complex or interesting. Tap rating: 8/4/8/4/16 = 4 A totally different beer. Clear amber, good lacing and retention. Aroma is like a grapefruit was dropped in the glass. Pine and resin are present as well. Huge hop aroma and flavor. Yeah, we’ve all seen these flavors before, but the freshness made this way better. Hop juice. Scores are averaged
