Bottle: Luminescent deep orange-amber with a thin white top. Nice floral hoppy aroma. Slightly resiny, but not overpoweringly so ... very finessed and balanced. Clean and crisp, this is a wonderful little hoppy beer. I love it.

When I stuck my nose into the first bottle I opened, I awoke in a huge field of hops. It was then I knew that this one wouldn’t disappoint. Poured a deep golden in color, with a near-perfect off-white head. Flavor is up-front bitter with good malt balance. If anything is lacking in this one, it’s finishing hops; they don’t quite fill in the back the way the bittering fills the front. Lingering bitterness makes this one easy to keep going with, so I’d rate it a decent session beer as well.

this is one hell of a beer. The aroma is powerful hops, hops and hops -- with extra hops just for good measure. I’m lucky to live within walking distance to their tasting room. This a great beer -- start to finish!

12 oz bottle. Pours to a slightly hazy, deep golden color, with a thick, creamy, white head, and a good bit of carbonation. The nose on this beer is very fragrant, with lots of big citrus, and piney hop aromas. The palate is firm, with a good pale/biscuity malt base, that leads into lots of piney/citrus bitter hop flavors on the tongue. This beer finishes with more good pale malt up front, then ends with a very bitter piney/citrus bite that lingers. A hop blast, this beer has plenty of hop aromas, flavors, and bitterness. Would make an excellent aperitif beer, and a perfect match with hot and spicy foods such as a Thai, or Tex-Mex.

Have had on draft, cask and in bottle. This is a hophead’s dream come true. Not too hoppy but just enough.Let’s cut to the chase...the answer is HOPS to all of the questions. They’re everywhere but in just the right amounts. Nice balance with the malt coming through just enough to prevent your tastebuds from being scorched off. Have to say that the cask version was by far the best IMO.

Pint Glass on July 12th, 2007. The appearance is a light amber/orange. Poured with little to no head. The aroma is bitter, floral, piny smells. The taste is very bitter, wow, just bitter! A hint of maltyness to it also. The bitterness is great. Just the way I like my beer to taste. Great!

On tap at blue point brewery, aroma of awsome west coast hops, grapefruity citrusy goodness, carbonation fits the spiciness of the hops, medium body, slight malt sweetness, overwhelming yet drinkable hoppiness, having one begs you to have another. one of my personal favorites (although consistancy from batch to batch is not very solid), I always have a six pack in the fridge.
