| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2005 Bottle. Light golden in colour, fizzy white head, some lace. The aroma was hoppy first (lots of orange zest, pine and grapefruits) and some caramel malts. The flavour was lightly malty (some caramel sweetness) with a moderate moderate amouts of citrus hops. Bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a lingering hop bitterness. CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Amber, largely carbonation body with a thin, dissipating head. Piney and Hi-C nose. Very crisp and sharp hops flavour. Enjoyable! Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

Not the hop animal that most IPA’s are but I found this very smooth and drinkable. Cascade hops balanced nicely with a sweet maltiness. I’ve had this in bottles before and the cask version was really much better. rickgordon (3304), Göteborg, Sweden

Cloudy golden colour. Grape and mandarin nose, bit of swimming pool. Mandarin notes in flavour, along with grape. Light-medium bodied. Not as bitter as one would expect from a US IPA. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2005 Golden lemon yellow. Smells literally like a hop bag, with a pure, leafy, gritty hop scent. Crisp flavor, tangy grapefruit juice, spicy and bitter, but not very deep. Gritty, semi-sweet finish. A decent IPA but not world class. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Mix of citric and spicy hops with a slightly earthy undercurrent. Balanced by light biscuity malt. Good solid IPA but nothing to really distinguish it from the crowd.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 9, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Best before Oct 06. Poured out a medium straw / light amber color. Has a thin white head, but hung on for the ride to the bottom of the glass. Aromas are of malts, some fruitiness as well. Hops make a major appearance. Flavors are of sweet malts, slight brown sugar, apricots. Medium mouthfeel, decent body. Good IPA in my book.
