Dec 19, 2005 Thanks to 1FastSTI ! Pours a clear golden color, nice sized white head. Big lacing around the edge. "Simcoe like" hoppy aroma, spices, lemons. Flavor is sweet, goes into a pleasently bitter hoppy kick to the face, somewhat balanced, though lacking a distinctive charachter to it.

Nov 30, 2006 12 ounce bottle from my SS winter 06. Pours dark gold/light amber with a gooey white head that leaves loads of lace. There is a slight dry hop haze that is always welcome.Pungant citrus, leafy grass hop aroma. A bit of a grassy hop flavor. A touch of sweetness to balance. Clean bitterness. Nothing to exciting here. Medium on the body. Dry finish. Nice drinking beer.

Dec 30, 2006 Poured a clear effervescent golden amber with a fizzy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, perhaps a touch of pine and toffee. A bit muted but present and nice. Flavor follows with essences of orange and grapefruit, a bit of dishwater soapiness which mutes a bit, finishing dry, citrusy and refreshing, leaving you wanting more. Although a bit muted and leaning somwhat towards the generic side, it still carries nice flavors and finishes positively to create overall a nice brew.

Jul 19, 2005 On tap at Mahar’s in Albany. Was expecting more hops considering the name, but it still wasn’t too bad tasting, just not enough bitterness for what I wanted.

Jan 24, 2006 Poured golden with a minimal head. Aromas of citrus, graitfruit, and pine. Taste was quite creamy but lacking in terms of the hops for me. Pretty good IPA.

Sep 27, 2006 Bottle: Slightly hazy orange pour with a medium white head. Aroma, oranges, some traces of sweetness, and a bit of citrus. Flavor, citrusy, some pale malts, quite sweet. Odd bitterness, refreshing though.

Jul 20, 2008 Bottle courtesy tpd975. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with sweet malt. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Good.
