Dec 19, 2005 Thanks to 1FastSTI ! Pours a clear golden color, nice sized white head. Big lacing around the edge. "Simcoe like" hoppy aroma, spices, lemons. Flavor is sweet, goes into a pleasently bitter hoppy kick to the face, somewhat balanced, though lacking a distinctive charachter to it.

Nov 30, 2006 12 ounce bottle from my SS winter 06. Pours dark gold/light amber with a gooey white head that leaves loads of lace. There is a slight dry hop haze that is always welcome.Pungant citrus, leafy grass hop aroma. A bit of a grassy hop flavor. A touch of sweetness to balance. Clean bitterness. Nothing to exciting here. Medium on the body. Dry finish. Nice drinking beer.

Jul 19, 2005 On tap at Mahar’s in Albany. Was expecting more hops considering the name, but it still wasn’t too bad tasting, just not enough bitterness for what I wanted.

Jan 24, 2006 Poured golden with a minimal head. Aromas of citrus, graitfruit, and pine. Taste was quite creamy but lacking in terms of the hops for me. Pretty good IPA.

Mar 14, 2005 Bottle: Nice white head, some lacing, light amber to golden color, pine aroma, similar flavors, moderately hoppy finish. Pretty good.

Dec 12, 2006 bottle-thanks to vyvvy for the sample. pours light orange with a small beige head around the rim of the glass. nose are citric with lots of floral hops, but somewhat soft. flavros are citric and light pale malts. really doenst have catch to it-pretty straight forward. this seems to be a delicate beer which should be sampled when very fresh. lots of subtle flavors, but hard to pinpoint what exactly. Maybe i will try it again.
