Golden yellow out of the bottle with a very hoppy orange citrus nose. I found this beer to be all abou the hops, with not enough malt to support it. Candied orange peel that tailed off into a mild bitter finish. Okay IPA. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 6, 2005 Bottle. Clear, light golden ale with a mid-sized, white, frothy head. Terrific, splattered lacing. The aroma is citrusy and piney. Surprisingly well-balanced flavor with notes of grapefruit and juniper berries. Very light toffee and white bread. A bit thin. Medium-bodied and astringent with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, astringent, dry finish. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 22, 2006 Clear, deep golden body with an ample, lingering white head. Aroma of mangos, citrus, and a faint hint of cheese. Flavor has sylvan hop qualities plus some mild graininess. Mostly drying and clean. Seems a little weak in character. Not bad, but not an exceptional IPA by any means. joeyplush (337), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
