Lightly carbonated with a pretty good balance of hops. Goes down really smooth, lasting finish. Really good offering. Not over the top with hops like a lot of IPA’s. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2008 pours lighter amber with dense white head. Nice pine, slightly citrus hop aroma. Hops bite from the very first sip, carbonation enhances the bitterness. Malt is in the background but it’s all about the hops here.. As the beer warms, there is a bit more balance. Not overly bitter. Palate is not so much as full as it is prickley. mjs (1542), Helsinki, Finland
