Aroma of sweet malt with decent hop aroma. The pale ale is dry hoppy at front with medium deep malt behind. Leaves pleasant aftertaste. Over all good IPA, dry with enough malt behind to have pleasure from having it. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA

Clear, bright copper-amber color, wispy head...big pungent, smelly nose with touches of oak...light-bodied, slightly sticky on the tongue, a bit woody with subtle grassy bitterness growing towards the finish...nothing really special but pleasant enough. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2009 This is an aight ipa. It isnt huge on the aroma, kinda light and floraly with a bit of the citrus going on. The body is not really powerful, but not really watery and weak either. This is a decent session ipa, could use a little more hop kick for my liking though. NJBeerman013 (778), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2007 Bottle. This is about as typical as it gets for a decent IPA. Strong citrusy hop bite with a bit of maltiness to balance. This is a solid IPA, but needs something a little extra to stand out. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2005 Clear golden hue. lasting white film tops it all. The nose is big, bright and hoppy. Citric and fuelic, oily and straightforward, not unpleasant though. The pale malts feel very biscuity on the palate. Slight earthy hints, short finish, oily and very dry. Bitterness is long-lasting, I thought this was an imperial IPA at some point, but the body is very light on the tongue, procuring just a faint creaminess and strong woody dryness.
