Has all the characteristics of a very good American IPA, from the grapefruity, piney aroma to the bitter, generously hopped flavor. Long lasting finish with a good bite adds to the enjoyment. jimbowood (960), Athens, Georgia, USA

Subtle fruity, flowery hop aroma matched by delicate flowery hop flavor. Not aggressively hopped. Drinkable w/ little hop bitterness but big hop fruitiness. Really good beer. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 20, 2007 Brightish gold color with a slight amber orangey cast to it. Small, slimming cap of off-white foam. A whispy skim is always present and the lace is adequately placed across the glass in some boney fingered strings and lots of spots.
Aroma is dullish of orange peels and a touch of grapefruity pineyness. Notes to melony sweetness, smokey resin touches, and some toasted grains and grassyness.
Taste is rounded well with a clean, unbittered hop tone of lightly crunchy and fairly crisp hopped up leafyness which is squeezing out some softly delicate touches of orangeyness and red grapefruit. Notes of toasted malt and pine merge well in the finish and lingers there for a decent length of impression.
Clean, crunchy, crisp, and rounded with a nice balance all wrapped in a solid medium body. Keeps a good, firm tone and grab the whole way through and has a nice complexing, low-ended bitter pined finish that lasts well and keeps ya coming back for more.
A very good drinking IPA due to its lower bitterness and firm clean body and taste. ElJefe (553), Rochester, New York, USA

Nice citrusy hoppy aroma with some sweet nutty malt presence. Definitely an IPA but this is well balanced and not over the top hoppy. Relatively short finish for an IPA, but this makes it refreshing and thirst quenching. Could use a bit more body, but a very good IPA. Quetzalcoatl (153), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Hazy golden beer, fine head. Full flowery hoppy aroma, the proper malty body to go with it. Ripe summer fruit, peach and orange, ending up in a grassy dry finish. Lovely with tasty food, I had some Parmesan cheese and cured spicy sausage..
