Bottle. Cloudy amber body. Off-white, frothy head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of sweet pineapple, orange, citrus, grapefruit and flowers with hints of caramel, The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately. bitter. Medium body, watery/velvet texture and lively carbonation. Sweeter than many American IPAs, but quite good. Hops are bright enough to stand up to the sweet, malty backbone, but not bold enough to scrape your tongue. Very enjoyable.

12 oz. bottle via trade with j12601 - Pours a clear golden color with a one finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is very malty. Probably an older bottle. Mostly toasted bready malt. Flavor is a little more balanced. Finish is also malty with a little hop bitterness. Medium body. A nice beer. Thanks Jay.

Bottle at a friend’s house. Pours a brilliant orange. Bright aroma but I can’t pick out much other than citrus hops. Taste is bitter citrus with a good malt balance. Clean finish. Nothing really stands out for me on this one but not bad.

a very flavorful IPA and has a full bodied very lively taste to the palate. I feel this beer might be the best offering from blue point that I have tried so far

On tap at Bukowskis, Boston, October 2009. Gold colour with a moderate off-white head. Mix of citric and spicy hops with a slightly earthy undercurrent. Balanced by light biscuity malt. Good solid IPA but nothing to really distinguish it from the crowd.

Decent IPA but not my favorite. Body / mouthfeel falls short of my expectations. Nice color and decent hop taste. Not my favorite IPA.

12 oz bottle - pours and amber color with a decent whitish head. Aroma of citrus, hops and grass. Taste of orange/grapefruit and hops balanced out by some malt. Not quite as bitter as some IPA’s but it holds it own. Not a bad IPA - very drinkable.

On tap at magooes. Really nice Pale ale, with plenty of dry hops, just a little light on the fragrant types for an IPA, dark golden colormodest head that does not hold.
