Solid IPA. Nice hoppy aroma, citrusy mainly. A nice red/gold color. The flavor was hoppy, but had a fruit sweetness to it. Nice refreshing hops on the palate. Good IPA overall.

On tap from Bellport Beer, thanks Dave! Pours a clear coppery gold with a moderate yellow-white head that lasted until about mid-glass. Very pleasant aroma of fresh citrus, with much more orange in the nose than grapefruit. Some notes of pine waifting in as well. The flavor is caramel malt up front followed by some some strong hops bitterness. Some grapefruit and pine in the flavor. Dries out at the finish and the bitterness lingers a bit beyond the swallow. The alcohol was very well hidden - I had no clue this was 10% abv. A nice solid DIPA.

On tap at Fatheads. Aroma is sweet with hops and fruit. Flavor starts slightly sweet then the hops definitely come out for a bitter finish. A good double IPA but not my favorite.

On tap at Market Cross, Shippensburg: aroma was fruity, with some esters (english ale yeast esters?) and some fruity hops. the malts probably also mixed in to produce some of that apricot like aroma. a tawny colored brew with an inch and a half of head when poured that still remained along the edges of the glass. Flavor was hops, citrus, pine, and some fruitiness, and some carmel malts. pretty nice, but not what I expected. not a great beer, but not a flop anyway. more interesting than many double ipa

on tap at kelly’s. poured a hazy reddish amber with a big off white head that left a bit of lacing as it went down. light floral citrus hop nose, with some bubblegum and bread scents. in the taste, a bit more of a caramel malt came out, as well as some more noticeable grapefruit hop flavors. solidly bitter finish, but very well-balanced. medium body with moderate carbonation, and a good coating mouthfeel. barely noticed the alcohol. i’d like a stronger smell in a double ipa, but still pretty tasty.

Copper with big, foamy off-white head / Sweet, malty pine nose / Medium to full bodied with pronounced malts and hops, and good finish / Big flavors of pine, caramel, orange, and cinnamon / Outstanding, in a fuller bodied style.

Pours a light innocuous amber. Aroma of some hops with a bit of citrus. Then comes the taste. This was my first IIPA and lets just say that I was under-prepared. Ultra hoppy to the point of an almost stinging bitterness. Its a beer that lets you know you are drinking it. Not for the feint of heart or the hop haters.

Thick amber color with a big head and sticky lacing. Aroma is lightly resin-y, lightly citrus, and bittered sweet flower petals. taste is actually strong sweet malts with hoppy apple.
