Cole’s IPA Fest. Huge orange, pine nose, deep orange, small custard head. Wow, orange/malt mix is great. Full bodied, very well balanced, 10% yikes. Terrific!

Bottle. Pours a dark orange body with a fluffy whitish head. The aroma is orangey with fruity resin and cereal biscuit. Toasty malts, orange resin, caramel, and alcohol flavours. Oily finish. Pretty good.

On tap. Poured a medium amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, floral and lightly earthy. Tastes of citrus, caramel, and lightly floral. Resiny. Light alcohol in the finish. Nice balance.

Bottle
Appearance :< /B>Gold with amber touches, fizzy, creamy top. 3-
Nose:Sweet with plenty of alcohol.
Flavour/Palate: Raw, bitter sweet solution of hops with harshness to it. Fairly drinkable but not to complex. Bold simplicity well balanced. Earthy with plenty of hops juicy strong ale with long lasting finish.

750ml bottle at Cole’s IPA Fest: Golden brown color with a thin foamy white head. Big pine aroma with loads of fresh citrus notes and hints of cedar. Lightly sweet malts come through initially followed by pine-like hops. Finishes dry with a faint woody flavor. Flavor falls far short of the excellent aroma.

Bottle at Coles IPA Festival. Golden amber body with small creamy off white head. (3+) Lightly floral hops, muted citrus and hints of caramel. Similar flavour with citrus up front that gives way to caramel with muted resiny hops. Average to medium smooth palate. Alcohol is not particularly noticeable, I had no idea this was 10% abv. Very balanced and drinkable, but not nearly as assertive as I had hoped. It would have to be more aggressive than this to require an apology ;)
