Good stout. Aroma is malty and roasty. the appearance was an opaque thick black. The flavor had a sweetness, with oats and roasted coffee and dark chocolate mixed in. The finish was roasted coffee. Medium to thick mouthfeel. Not bad.

Poured black with a small tan head. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt, black coffee, and light notes of chocolate. This was very enjoyable

3rd in a series of ’color’-inspired beers at McGregor’s. This time we featured ’blue.’ Dark with reddish highlights, chocolaty aroma, oak. Rich cream palate, sweet too, with nice hops balance. On the light side overall.

Draft. Tasted like straigt ass, as do most Blue Point pieces of crap. THis was no exception. Avoid, for your sake.

At Dee’s Hot Dog Shop on draft. Pours a dark coffee, with a small amount of head. Looks impressive. Taste is very carbonated ith just a hit of some nutty, malty chocolate. With a very watery aftertaste.

Cask at Drop Off Service. Black with almost no head. Little carbonation at all. Strong chocoalte taste with roastedness and a little bicycle tire. Not as creamy as could be for an oatmeal stout. Maybe the cask wasn’t up to snuff.

On tap at Mahars Albany, NY. Pours deep brown with light head. Aroma of coffee and caremel hops. Roasted oatmeal flavor, but not overwelming. Slight bitterness, good after taste

[Brewtopia 07] Poured a dark brown, red color with a small, light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of light roast, cocoa, vanilla, light toffee, and coffee. Taste of chocolate, roast, light smoke, with some oatmeal, and a somewhat thin mouthfeel.
