The oatmeal stood out as the discernible element in the stout, which is uncommon from the varieties I’ve tried. I’ve had a lot of Blue Point beers, especially on tap, but this 1/2 gallon jug I bought was made to order delicious. I had a few glasses -- then it sat in my fridge for a few days -- and I had a few more. It maintained the same carbonation and it went great with the super bowl taco dip. Roasted sweetness intertwine with mild hops making this a very pleasurable experience. Are there better Sweet Stouts out there? Maybe, but I don’t remember any that I liked this much. waveman352 (178), Walden, New York, USA

Head doesn’t last. Smells of chocolate malts and a secent of cherry at the end. Very creamy finish roast malt flavor. Slightly bitter throughout. Full of flavor and very fulfilling from beginning to end. Although it is low in alcohol I felt like I could taste a strong alcohol flavor. Great beer. Best Oatmeal Stout/Sweet Stout i’ve had yet. vtrain (14), Brooklyn, New York, USA

A very, very good oatmeal stout - and I'm not generous with high ratings. Compares close, but not as good, to my favorite oatmeal stout - the Heartland Farmer John's Oatmeal Stout.
