Aroma: The nose is mostly malty, fairly mild, some caramel too
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a frothy white head
Flavor: A pretty average, typical of the style, malty and bready flavor
Palate: Light body, watery mouthfeel, drinkable, not much else
Overall Impression:
This is a fairly boring brew, not bad, just not very exciting. Nothing very exciting going on here, not much else to say, it just is what it is. An adventure-less attempt at the Oktoberfest style.

Nov 7, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Clear gold color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is mild with light hints of caramel. Flavor is bitter and slightly malty at the beginning with a dry and lightly toasted malt middle. Finishes with a bitter and lightly flowery aftertaste.

Nov 1, 2009 Clear golden coloured beer with small white head and only few carbonation. Sweet fruity aroma. Full sweet palate. Finish is sweet bitter ending with a dry touch.

Aroma is caramel, toasty malts, light buttery biscuit and honey.Taste is sweet malts, light toasty notes, chewy caramel, light fruit and honey. Light spicy hops. Body is light-meidum to medium with a soft, prickly carbonation. Ends with more sweet malts, big caramel, light fruit, and more honey. Fainter spicy hops here as well. Not too bad.

Oct 24, 2009 12 oz bottle from Spirits RB. Pours a mostly lifeless honey amber body with a large frothy white head. Aroma was brown bread, slight nutts, rotting fruit, alcohol and stale caramel. Flavor is pretty flat with only a slight hint of cereal grains and a slight bitter finish. Not really anything good here, it’s like a BMC version of an Oktoberfest rather then a creaft brewery version.

Oct 24, 2009 Bottle from SL. Pour was straw golden to light amber in color with a nice pilsner-like head and lacing all the way down. The aroma was pilsy malts, grassy hops, honey, biscuity malts. The flavor followed, some caramel in there, but really a nice ofest-pilsnery type interpretation of the ofest style. Good strong hops presence over all the grainy and malty bigness. Mouthfeel was moderate, clean, especially for the flavor. Nice job!
