| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 17, 2006 64 oz growler. Amber colur with some thin white head. Aroma shows thin maltiness and some of the same metallic/acrid smoky character that I find in several of their seasonal products of late. A bit of caramel and some appley notes. Flavour is thin-bodied, some toast and astringent hop bitterness. Pretty poor really. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste was a mild chocolate to go along with a sweet hoppy caramel thing. Tastes a bit more like a hopped up Amber than a Marzen. Also got some roasted wood chips.
