Pyrozoid (352), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2009 On tap, Eli Cannon’s. Pours clear orange with a small head. Aroma is sweet of bubble gum, copper and malt. Flavor, unfortunately, is kind of a mess: there is that bubble gum sweetness, some candy peach, roasts, ash, and finishing hop bitterness. All accentuated by alcohol. For me, this beer is flavorful but unbalanced. Its flavors dart all over the place, and the alcohol shows a bit too offensively. blipp (1714), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Sweet crystal malt aroma with light hoppy notes. The flavor is well balanced with sweet caramel malt and some floral, almost spicy, hops. Pretty good. Lubiere (4550), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
