| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2004 Light but definatly present funky hops with a stong grain/ grassy backbone. Clear honey colored body. Interesting thin-ish mouthfeel reminds me of rain water and tea. Very interesting hop charactor remains very present and very delicate imparting only a little bitterness. Carmel mats shine alonge side the hoppyness with bread and grass with a respectfull amount of sweetness. Finnishes bready and herbal. CapFlu (3492), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Bottle. Nice hoppy aroma belies the fact that there is not a lot of bitterness in the body. Pleasant and well balanced but restrained and unexciting. Mondiale 3T (Capflu). Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Deep straw yellow wearing a low white head. Explosive minty c-hops, grapefruity and citrusy with a nice cookie malt base. It appears remarkably balanced for what it is. Grapefruit oriented taste, but with this nice mint touch adding to the typical orange and light lemon. It’s mostly straightforward, but pleasant nonetheless. Mostly thin to medium bodied with a high carbonation. I’m usually not a fan of C-hops redundant stories, but after a few so-so beers, this one was welcomed and I may have overrated it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2004 Overwhelming, grapefruity C-hops merge into orange zest formation and deftly fly through the nostril forest...Less assertive than expected from the aroma, the flavors seem to attempt balance but fail, as caramel sweetness is nowhere near as confident as the exhibitionist hoppiness...A very good hoppy pale ale, aimed to please lovers of citrusy bitterness... | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2004 Light yellow with a thin white head. Citrusy hop nose. Taste is huge on hops, some soapy and rindy notes, nice malty middle and even more hops at the end. An unexpected delight from a brewery I hadn’t heard of. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
