12oz bottle shared by nuplastikk. My first specialty grain rating. The bottle claims copper ale, and no mention of any odd grains, though rye seems to be the culprit here. A lasting light beige head sits atop a copper body. Spicy malt and light grassy hops in the aroma. Lightly toasty, almost chewy malt, some caramel, spicy but mild hops and a lightly bitter finish. Medium-light bodied with crisp but fine carbonation. balanced, pretty clean flavors and nice light malt character.

(12oz bottle, thanks nupplastikk) Medium beige head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel/bread, some spice. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, light spice, rye. Light-medium body, lightly sticky.

Bottle shared by nuplastikk: Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of citrusy grassy noble hops and a touch of grainy semi-sweet pale malt. Starts with decent body and mild caramel sweetness with some mild rye flavor before a drier, grainy finish with some light citrusy hops. A pretty drinkable and balanced brew, but nothing special.

Pours a medium clear copper with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is herbal and lightly flowery hops, hints of wildflower honey, and some pale crackery malts. Light caramel sweetness in the flavor, toasted malts, light nuttiness, grain- rye doughiness with light earthy spice, flowery hops, and a decent dry clean finish- light bitterness in the aftertaste.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear coppery red with a moderate-large linen white head that lasted to the end of the glass and left a dense layer of foam with each sip. Very, very mild aroma of caramel and not much else. The flavor begins again with a very light, call it weak, caramel flavor. It is in the aftertaste that this beer is most flavorful with a nice biscuit and rye bread flavor that emerges and lingers beyond the swallow. Medium bitterness. Frankly, this was better than I was expecting.

12oz bottle. Filtered amber-copper color. Nice head that fades away after a minute or two. I have no idea why this beer is listed as a specialty grain on RB. Pretty solid beer, relatively in the middle of the road flavor-wise. Some crisp hops completely balanced out by the toasty malt. Mouthfeel is almost too big for its britches, if you will. A little too heavy and thick, a rare criticism. Still has some nice caramel tones and hits the mark for the Copper Ale style, the semi undefined style that is.

Bottle courtesy of j12601. Pours copper with an off-white head. Smells perfumy and spicy with some caramelly undertones. Tastes of caramel and spicy with an earthy finish.

Bright bronze appearance with an averge size, off white head and good lacing. Flowery, slightly herbal, hop aroma. Taste has a clean, sharp bite. Grainy flavor that’s a little grassy and a little spicy (almost peppery). Dry, bitter, lingering finish.
