Terrific beer which is Sofa King smooth anfld perfectly hoppy. Grassy with some peanut and cocoa. Best Blue Point beer since forever! bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 23, 2009 I enjoyed this beer. Nice color, nice body. Very dry and slightly bitter. I’m guessing Specialty grain means ’Rye’. Since that seems to be the popular opinoin. Either way, I like it. It’s nice to see something new from Blue Point as well as be available outside of the brewery. blipp (1730), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2007 Updated: Apr 8, 2008Taster at brewpub. Orange/copper color, clear beer. A sweet nutty maltiness, some light floral hoppiness. Taste is mineral with light citrus fruit and lightly malty. Easy drinking and thirst quenching. A very nice mix of nutty lager and a lightly hopped American ale. I would say this is a Vienna/APA mix. Definitely returnable and recommended.7/3/6/3/14
Re-rate from growler: very different brew the 2nd time around. Still the same color but has a beautiful large head. Aroma has gone all the way hoppy and looses and of the lagered maltiness and nuttiness it had before. Aroma is all hops with light citrus, light pine and light sweet hops. Taste is similar and finishes with light bitterness and extremely easy drinking. A definite improvement.7/4/7/3/15 Sregnar35 (732), Rotterdam, New York, USA
