Commercial Description:
Blue Point Brewing's Summer Ale has a delicious golden taste. In addition to traditional barley malt; a substantial portion of wheat malt is added to the mix giving this brew a unique tartness that's not found in many beers today. A small amount of lemon is added with one other "special" ingredient that all combine together to produce a light, thirst-quenching, citrus flavor microbrew enjoyed by all on a hot, Long Island Summer day.

12 oz bottle- Poured clear golden straw coloring. Armoa was citriusy with very slight malt, average hops. Small hint of lemony flavors. Overall fairly enjoyable, but a little above average for summer beers

Bottle. Aroma of slightly earthy malt, floral hops, and yeast; similar to a white beer. Flavor is similar, but the malt is a little funky (or is that what they call "tart"?).

Bottle sampled. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malt, and a hint of wheat. Flavor follows the aroma and is very smooth and light.

12 oz. beer at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured light gold with thin head. Slightly lemony sweet flavor. This beer is probably reasonable three months out of the the year.

This beer would be good on a hot day, it was light in color and in smell. Nothing crazy.

On tap at the brewery. Pale yellow with a white head that has good retention. Definitely a refreshing session beer that is good with lunch. Light and sweet flavor.
