Commercial Description:
Blue Point Brewing's Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

12 oz bottle, pours a hazy golden color with moderate head. Aroma was pleasantly subtle and like the name suggests rather toasted. Taste is very full and and slightly sweet with a strong malt flavor. Palate was smooth and a very pleasant sweet aftertaste. Impressive beer.

This was a surprisingly tasty lager. A lovely clear amber, with a great lacey head, mild but noticeable (especially for lager) flavor, with a warm finish. Better than most lagers I can think of.

Tap: Dark gold and clear with a small tan head. Nutty, sweet and alcohol aromas. The flavor is sweet, but not obnoxiously sweet, and quite smooth.

Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a thick off-white head that drop quickly, leaving little lacing. Aroma is biscuits, malt and little else. Toasty malt flavor with a hint of bitter grassy hops. Mouthfeel is creamy, thick, with a bitter aftertaste. A decent if unremarkable lager.

Clear reddish beer with a decent off-white head that doesn’t last. Smells like sweet light malt. Tastes a bit sweet, very much like barley, no aftertaste. Not a remarkable beer.

THIS IS A FINE LAGER. IT IS yeasty with a touch of quality sweetness. this could be a product of a weak malt profile. the hop character is very good for a lager and has the volume of a nice pale ale. this beer is deserving of it’s well known accolades. it has very good wide and moderate carbonation which suites its taste and body well. a robust beer guy brew with surprisingly low alcohol.

Pours golden with a huge off white Foany head.Aroma of yeast and carmel. Taste is yeasty, spicey. A little watery. Aroma is better then the flavor.
