Commercial Description:
Blue Point Brewing's Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

I really enjoy this beer, it has a nice amber color and a toasted flavor that is noticeable at first taste. It is usually a beer that I will drink at a bar due to its reasonable price and quality taste.

Clear amber with big, foamy off-white head / Faint malt, honey nose / Syrupy, light body, with low carbonation and good finish / Flavors of honey and toasted grain, with floral undertones / A fine beer, but more of a lager than a Vienna and a little flat on the tongue.

Tap, Manhattan NY. Amber brown, thick smooth disappearing head. Smooth malty and toasty nose and flavor. Slightly citric with a nice, long toasted bread aftertaste. Tasty and enjoyable.

Nice deep amber color with a thick tan head that leaves lace till the glass is empty. A touch of Sazz in the boquet. Hop bitterness greated by a nice lighlt malt back ground. Well balanced but slight over carbonated and thin. Semi dry finish with some fruity notes.

From bottle. Light metallic with cooked veggie and mild corn. Astringent hoppy notes and a touch of toasted grain. Not much sweetness. Dull golden amber clear with a thin, dissipating white head. Medium thin body with medium carbonation. Starts with some roasted grain and light malt sweetness. Mild sugar. Light acidity with carbonic gaseousness. Hops are muted, with a bit of floral character at the end and not much bitterness to speak of. Dull lager with weak sweet papery after.
