Wow, was I disappointed! The aroma was weak, some hops, not much malt, and not very toasty either. It had an amber-orange color with a good-sized, creamy, off-white head. I actually disliked the first sip, and although it got better, it still was hard to drink. Quite sour and bitter, especially in the early going. The palate was a bit too light and watery, without much carbonation. Overall not what I expected, it underperformed.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear bronze colour, small head. Sweet with fairly light body and clean mouthfeel. Low on hops with hard crystal malt character, notes of lemon and not much else. Low bitterness. Dull and lifeless.

Bottle; poured an orange-copper. Not much head. Aroma was typical of the style; bread and malt. Flavor was much of that, but with a light sweetness and moderate grassy finish. Didn’t pick up any substantial toasted components. Enjoyable, like many in the style. Probably above average for the style for me.

Bottle. Burnt copper in color. This beer is very malty. The multiple layers of malts impart a silky smoothness to the beer that makes it very enjoyable.
