The nose had a nicely tamed aroma of malt. It had a fair amount of bitterness that blended out to a nice smooth palate. Dorwart (1829), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Light beige head about 1 cm thick. Good carbonation. Light roasty aroma with some bready malts, vanilla and a touch of hops. Color is a orange amber. Light and crisp flavor. More tasted graisn, and more of a hops presence. Good balance between the hops and the roastyness. Finished with a little bit of alcohol presence which I am quite surprised at with only 4.8% abv. Lingering malty sweetness and a hint of hops bitterness. This is a pretty good brew and s pretty good representation of the style. Linc (736), Sydney, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2007 Copper brown, pleasant nutty, malty nose. Very mild hopping, sweet palate, bordering on cloying. Nice, malt driven beer, but perhaps a bit too sweet to really enjoy in any kind of volume. pet3rman (206), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 18, 2007 Blue Point was on point for this delicious beer. Pour was a dark amber/burnt orange with no head. Aroma was of malt and not much else. Taste was sweet malt with little carbonation but had some hops flirting in an out as well. This would be a good "hot day" beer. 2beerguys (299), North Shore, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 14, 2007 This lager pours a cloudy amber color, but settles clear, topped off by a creamy, small light-brown head. Fair lacing behind a fully diminishing head. Aroma is of light grain malts with straw notes. Amber noted a sweet, inviting aroma. Initial taste was moderately sweet, easing to a light sweet finish with average duration. Light to medium on the palate, it leaves us dry with soft carbonation. Overall, it was a drinkable beer, not a favorite but tasty.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 13, 2007 This lager has a pretty clear, amber body with tiny particles floating about. The small white head fades quickly. The aroma is lightly hoppy. The flavor is lightly bitter and the body is light, a bit watery and leaves a slightly chalky feeling in the mouth. I didn’t really detect anything toasted or any malt for that matter. Pretty ordinary.
