Was easy to drink, I just wish it was either less grainy and more roasted (darker) or more sweet. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

While this is exactly without an aroma it is low enough in intensity that if it were a fart no one could pinpoint enough to lay blame at any one person. Vaguely hoppy is all I can say. Tea colored..thin filmy white head. Slight metallic tinge int he fore yields to a fairly toasty (hey like the name) grain flavor with mild hop notes and a tinge of sweetness. "For brewery fresh taste, purchase before Jan, 2006." For some reason, I was expecting a really good amber lager, but this is as ordinary as ordinary can get. Lightly sweet and caramely, but mostly just generically malty with a balancing hop bitterness. In fact, not even all that flavorful period. Vaguely malty and caramely nose isn’t winning me over either. Medium bodied, barely, but clean on the palate, and with good carbonation. Golden amber color shows only slight haziness, and the half inch or so of off-white head settles to small ring while leaving no lacing on the glass. Totally ho-hum. jimhilt (1679), Bow, New Hampshire, USA

Weak malty/hoppy nose. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Starts sweet but hops dominate finish. Moderately bitter after taste. $1.95 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma. imzugzug (103), Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, USA

Was I supposed to taste that? I didn’t. Light and refreshing. Would make a good porch sipper. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
