May 19, 2009 On tap at Ulysses’ in NYC. Pours a beautiful clear amber with a nice, off-white head that has great retention and leaves very good lacework. Aroma of doughy malt, some slight toffee, caramel. Taste is doughy, fresh caramel malt with excellent balancing hops. Clean, crisp, lager finish. Great session beer. I’m not a big fan of lagers, but this- like Brooklyn lager- is top notch and redeems the style.

May 16, 2009 Bomber cheap at rip and run. Muddled and mismatched malts prove this to be a bit of a roller coaster of body anmd taste. head was bright white and fizzy. blah.

May 8, 2009 Served on tap. Clear amber color with a full white head. Aroma has notes of caramel and fruit in addition to toasted malts. Flavor matches that with a slight hop finish. Very smooth and easy to drink. Not bad!

May 7, 2009 On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 05/05/2009. Very clear pale amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Sweet otasty and bready aroma. Sweet toasty and cereal flavor with some faint graininess. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Apr 23, 2009 fresh bottle. Neutral aroma, a beige coloured body without noticeable head. If you like toasted lager, this is for you. A little complexity in malt, so decent for style. Average mouthfeel and carbonation OK.

Apr 18, 2009 This actually pretty tasty. I’ve never been much of a lager fan, but i could have a few of these. Very smooth with a nice toasty malt finish.

Apr 16, 2009 This amber pour has a malty "toasted" aroma. It is sweet, less toasted and has a nice hop finish. Dry and smooth. If the price per case comes down this would be a great staple.

Apr 6, 2009 Bonus from Hophead75. Bottle. Clear, medium golden-amber pour with a thin, white head. Light aroma of caramel. Flavor of caramel with a touch of hops. Light body with medium carbonation. Fairly basic, though I definitely enjoyed it. Would make a solid session beer. Thanks Andrew!
