Commercial Description:
Blue Point Brewing's Toasted Lager is our flagship product. Copper in color this brew is made from Six different malts including: English Pale, Crystal, Munich, Carapils, Wheat and Belgian Caravienna. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. Special lager yeast is used to produce that long lasting, smooth finish. The "toasted" part of the name refers to our direct-fire brew kettle; hot flames imparts a toasted flavor to our most popular microbrew.

Surprisingly flavorful for a lager. Good malt backbone, clean and crisp finish, and there were hops in there too. Good lager.

330 ML Bottle in USA. Med Amber color, little head. Fake citrus aroma. Hoppy un natrual sweet sticky taste. Palate is hoppy. This is the typical Ice Cream flavored brewery stuff. Not good.

A pale golden lager with a very bitter and harsh aftertaste, maybe due to the roasted malts, but it was a good beer not the best and frankly I expected better from a small brewery

Bottle. Pours orange/gold, with a white head. Aroma is subtle. malt and caramel. Flavor is malt, hops, and sugar. Medium body. Good, but nothing special here.

Bottle thanks to someone, slips the memory. Copper body with a slick white body. Grassy nose that’s rather earthy despite the citrus...the toasted malt and hop are very straightforward with strong caramel. The toasting is very nice in the flavor, also some hop and grain through the finish. Short finish. Nice lager.

Bottle. Pours copper as in the description. Taste is smooth and easy drinking. This is a nice enjoyable micro. Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on more of this stuff.

Serving: 12 pz. bottle. Appearance: Clear copper color with a small, white head. Okay head retention and lacing. Aroma: Toasted malt that is quickly overcome by the hops, citrus, a touch of pine, and perhaps a bit of caramel. Flavor: Hop forward with pine and citrus notes. The malt is a little harder to discern. A bit of pale malt perhaps. Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium finish. Overall: Not a bad Vienna, but I would prefer a little less in the way of hops to let that malt shine. Recommended.

Tap. Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Nose is sweet malts. A decent lager with an acceptable malt finish. Some sweetness and some hops add balance. Easy drinking.

Clear amber coloured beer with small white head and few carbonation. Sweet fruity aroma. Full light sparkling palate. Finish is bit bitter.
