Surprisingly flavorful for a lager. Good malt backbone, clean and crisp finish, and there were hops in there too. Good lager.

Dec 4, 2009 330 ML Bottle in USA. Med Amber color, little head. Fake citrus aroma. Hoppy un natrual sweet sticky taste. Palate is hoppy. This is the typical Ice Cream flavored brewery stuff. Not good.

Nov 30, 2009 A pale golden lager with a very bitter and harsh aftertaste, maybe due to the roasted malts, but it was a good beer not the best and frankly I expected better from a small brewery

Nov 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours orange/gold, with a white head. Aroma is subtle. malt and caramel. Flavor is malt, hops, and sugar. Medium body. Good, but nothing special here.

Nov 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to someone, slips the memory. Copper body with a slick white body. Grassy nose that’s rather earthy despite the citrus...the toasted malt and hop are very straightforward with strong caramel. The toasting is very nice in the flavor, also some hop and grain through the finish. Short finish. Nice lager.

Nov 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours copper as in the description. Taste is smooth and easy drinking. This is a nice enjoyable micro. Wouldn’t mind getting my hands on more of this stuff.

Appearance: Clear copper color with a small, white head. Okay head retention and lacing.
Aroma: Toasted malt that is quickly overcome by the hops, citrus, a touch of pine, and perhaps a bit of caramel.
Flavor: Hop forward with pine and citrus notes. The malt is a little harder to discern. A bit of pale malt perhaps.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium finish.
Overall: Not a bad Vienna, but I would prefer a little less in the way of hops to let that malt shine. Recommended.

Nov 1, 2009 Tap. Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Nose is sweet malts. A decent lager with an acceptable malt finish. Some sweetness and some hops add balance. Easy drinking.
