Commercial Description:
This beer is an American interpretation of the old Vienna-style lager. Exported from Europe to the U.S. and Mexico in the 1870s, this style had nearly died out by the end of Prohibition. Our version is medium-bodied, with a soft malt flavor balance by spicy hops, an herbal aroma and a slight citrus flavor.

Clear copper body topped by small, quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, butterscotch. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, toffee, light earthy bitter finish. Light-medium, slightly sticky body.

(Bottle) Pours a medium amber color with white head. This beer has no flavor at all. Not a bad flavor just nothing at all.

Deep amber color. Good sized head that deminishes fully. Slightly bitter.

The crystal-clear, dictionary definition of amber. Large, frothy, off-white head. Aromas of smoked nuts, caramel and cola. The flavor is reminiscient of all other Viennas... only bolder. Astringent; syrupy, then soul cleansingly dry in the mouth. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and soft carbonation... all the bubbles must have ended up in that huge head. Astringent finish. A fine Vienna. However, as I have always felt, Viennas are best enjoyed, not as a session beer, but as an accompanyment to beef jerky, Mexican Food and/or pork rinds. Not recommended for vegetarians!

Bottled. Nothing wrong with this lager. Was looking for something more. Tasted like any other amber.

Good overall color and flavor. Mildy smooth, but complex taste for a lager.

A very smooth beer. Rather dark in appearance with a light head. Very enjoyable.
