Commercial Description:
The national drink of England is an ale called "Bitter," designated as "Ordinary," "Best" and "Extra Special Bitter," or ESB, depending on its body and strength. Our version is coppery red and medium-bodied. Its tangy hop character is nicely balanced by the biscuit-like flavor of specially roasted barley malt.

Bottle: Dark orange/amber with lots of particles suspended, off-white head that fades to a ring that lasts. Aroma is fruits(apple, pear, berries), mild hops, grains, honey, malt, with just a bit of spice. Taste is medium sweet initially, with notes of bitter hops and malt fading in and out. There’s light grapefruit, honey malts, grass, citrus, cocoa, biscuit. Medium bodied.

looks great tastes good. nothing special, but i liked it. it tastes mild to me, not anything extra special or extra bitter. for the most part this has some earthiness, a little bit fruity like cherry. kind of chewy, mineral water. the aroma has more caramel present in comparison to flavor. a bit interesting and good, but nothing more.

Pours deep amber with no head. Very subtle fruity aroma. Good flavor, but a little thin. Not bad.

A very good ESB! Deep brown appearance with a minimal head. mild aroma barely hints at the complex fruity hoppy flavor of this well-crafted beer. One of the more enjoyable ESB’s I have had in a while.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a small creamy tan head. The aroma was sour malt with a hint of fruit. The flavor was sour and quite hoppy with only a trace amount of malt noticeable. Sourness grows and lingers on the finish. An ok ESB but nothing to write home about.

Bottle: Slightly hazed medium reddish amber hue with a small frothy off-white head and good lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, cashews, toast, tart fruits, and aromatic hops. The taste is soft malts with a kick of bitters at the end. A vein of fruitiness runs through this beer and some earthy qualities as well. The feel is smooth and bready, a chalky finish. An okay ESB but would like like a touch more bitterness to stand out upon the finish. Quaffable.

Good nutty malt smell topping off a nice red amber cloudy color. Flavor isnt that bitter, but it has a good smooth, somewhat oily, mouthfeel.
