Jul 10, 2004 Medium, off-white head atop a crystal clear, golden body. Aroma is medium sweet (honey), herbal. Taste is medium sweet, malty (nutty, light caramel), honey, fruity (white grape, light orange), light spicy hop finish. Watery light-medium body. Very drinkable.

Jul 6, 2004 Pours dark gold with a nice head and lacing. Aroma of malt, honey, and slight hops. Tastes malty, sweet, with a honey, semi-sweet white wine taste. I don’t detect much hop taste. This one was impressive.

Honey, mead and citrus in the nose. Yeast as well.
Nice, mellow, layers of honey and lemon.
Hoppy, but not biting. A tart/tangy hoppiness.
Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Quick, clean finish! A very hearty blonde!

May 13, 2003 I don't detect the hops that others do. If anything, this beer has light hops at most. It's extremely mild and unchallenging, yes, but that misses the point. Every blond ale is unchallenging (until the day that Dogfish Head brews one). For what it's meant to be, this is an excellent blond because it's got a tremendous wheaty/yeasty bite that gives this beer more character than most.

Feb 17, 2003 Very hoppy but refined finish. Best served cold, for a crisp, smooth drink, also, try it with white bread or light cheeses... mmmmmm

Jul 29, 2002 An excellent blond ale with a hoppy aftertaste. Very drinkable, very enjoyable. Went extremely well w/ pizza .... enhancing the flavor of an already tasty gourmet pizza. Give it a try.
