Honey, mead and citrus in the nose. Yeast as well.
Nice, mellow, layers of honey and lemon.
Hoppy, but not biting. A tart/tangy hoppiness.
Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
Quick, clean finish! A very hearty blonde!

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 17, 2005 A very light golden with faint, sweet malt & wheat in the nose bolstered a bit by some mild orange scents. The straw-colored body is crowned by a huge, fizzy head.... which departs rather quietly and quickly. This is very light in the mouth, the liquid wanting to bubble up some more as you drink. The flavor is a light, sweet malt with some Wheaties and a splash of orange juice. It’s oddly refreshing, which is why I’m rating it higher than I initially thought I would after the first tastes.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 6, 2004 Pours dark gold with a nice head and lacing. Aroma of malt, honey, and slight hops. Tastes malty, sweet, with a honey, semi-sweet white wine taste. I don’t detect much hop taste. This one was impressive. BBB63 (4229), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2004 Bottle: Yep it’s golden with a small lasting head and good lace. The aroma has notes of pale and biscuity malts, floral hops, orange zest, and veggies. The taste starts citric and twangy with a very mild bitterness. Get a bit of pale malts throughout. A touch soapy on teh finish. The feel is watery and bland. Overall, it is better than most of the blonde ales out there, so give it a try. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | May 31, 2005 This bottled brew poured a large sized frothy head of white colored mostly diminishing finely sized bubbles that left behind a very carbonated transparent but slightly hazy body. It had a malty bready floral aroma. The mouth feel was tingly and very bubbly causing it to foam up in my mouth as I tried to drink it. This made it very difficult to drink. Too bubbly. The crisp flavor was that of mild malts and mild hops. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 25, 2005 Bottle. Large white fizzy head that mostly dissipated, fine-small sized bubbles, sparse lacing, carbonated, yeasty, hazy, and a straw yellow hue. Aroma was malty, sweet and somewhat skunky. Malty, sweet flavor that was not very impressive. Tingly palate.
