Bottle. Small creamy, smooth tan head that fully diminished, sparse lacing, fine-large sized bubbles, soft carbonation, mostly opaque, and a brown hue. Aroma was malty, chocolate, and sweet. Sweet, malty and chocolate flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Light-medium body.

Dark chestnut pour with an airy light brown head and average lacing. Aroma of coffee, bittersweet chocolate, charred oak and roasted malt. Flavors mostly followed the aroma with the addition of some vanilla and a hint of smoke. Mouthfeel was watery and carbonation was a bit prickly for a porter. Clean finish. Overall, an easy to drink porter but also a bit easy to forget.

sweet aroma of hops and burnt malts. looks are dark brown but not opaque, with reddish veins, head is thin and tan and dissipates almost immediately. coffee flavors serves as the backbone, with chocolates leading the way and some bitter hops bringing up the end. very smooth and easy to drink, a little thin on the body side, but somehow, this doesnt take away from the brew as it does in most situations. i bought 4 brews from this brewery as pickups at the store, and if this is an indicator of what to expect, i think i will be going back to maryland soon.

This poured a deep brown color with a thick, well sustained tan head. The aroma is roasted barley and burnt chocolate. The mouthfeel is very smooth. The flavor is a chocolately roasted malt with a dash of mild hops. Rich but not sweet, this has a clean malty finish. Umami!

Pour brown with a thick off-white head. Aroma of roasted chocolate. The taste was a combination of roast, chocolate, and some hint of sweetness maybe candy or fruit.

Acquired via trade. The beer is dark brown and is pretty clear for the style. Dense light tan head and thin lacing. The aroma is malty with some coffee and chocolate. Medium-bodied and semi-sweet malt and chocolate, with an underlying bitter coffee flavor. The flavor is pretty good but rather short-lived. The finish is lightly bitter roasted coffee. Not bad.

Brown red, a tad translucent for a porter, with a medium-sized light-brown head that is mostly diminishing. Quite a few yeast particles floating throughout. Light chocolate malt aroma. Lightly bitter flavor, coffee notes are very elusive, with a green, herbal finish that is really out of place. Thin bodied, highly carbonated.
