Warm overtones. Nutty malty flavor. Not strong alcohol wise. Smooth for a winter ale

it’s questionable. good, but nothing i really could enjoy too much. it’s slightly smokey, caramel, more sweet than anything, but with an odd herb like mint. it’s okay! but, meh.

A holdover from the winter beer extravaganza. I could tell just looking at this beer that it had a snowball’s chance of being really good. It wasn’t very bad either. Not much to see here

Bottle. Pours a deep mahogany. Small tan head. Nose is malty with light cocoa, hints of roasted character, and mild nuttiness. Taste is cocoa, malt, light roasted flavors, and some dryness and smokiness. Body had some moderate dryness to it along with a bit of tingly carbonation. Otherwise it’s relatively smooth. Finishes with cocoa, light smoke, some caramel, and malt with mild toffee notes.

A decent beer, but nothing amazing. This Blue Ridge is so far not an impressive brewery. Rerate--Better. Smoky and pretty delicious.

Not a big fan of this type of beer. Flavor wasn’t too bad, there was something going on at least, but this was a pretty unremarkable beer.

Pours clear brown with a white head. Lightly malty and smokey nose. Taste has notes of brown sugar/molasses, caramel and smoke. Medium body on the palate. Overall, pretty solid.
